Back in November, we told you about Acoustic Research’s new line of iPad accessories in the “For Her” series. In November, AR announced that the line up would include a tufted design in black or white, a pink and white polka dot design or a leopard print look. Today, the company has unveiled the entire spring 2014 collection, with a few new designs, plus a few new accessories.
Acoustic Research’s new “AR For Her” line of tech accessories comes in a variety of cleverly disguised forms. Not only can you accessorize your outfit with a matching purse-like speaker, but you can also keep your iPad charged on the go with a lipstick-shaped backup battery. Give your desk a little color with the mini speaker, and make your iPad pop with colorful charging cables.
This ladies’ line of tech accessories does more than just look fashionable. Women of all backgrounds can look stunning with their geeky gadgets. “Research predicts that millennial women will account for almost 15 percent of all U.S. retail sales by the year 2020, with consumer electronics being a top industry for growth,” said David Geise, President of VOXX Accessories Corporation. “We created AR for her because we see the great impact millennial women will have on the American tech industry in the coming years and we wanted to be at the forefront of that movement.”
In addition to the purse-like wireless Bluetooth speaker we mentioned in November, the AR For Her line incudes the “ZipStick,” which is a portable battery pack featuring a flashlight and a panic alarm for $34.99. The runway inspired designs include polka dots, and white tufted patterns. The USB port makes it possible for you to charge any compatible device on the go with a 2200 mAh UL Lithium ion battery. Optional versions without a panic alarm are available in black, cobalt, red, animal print, cayenne polka dot and white for $29.99.
The mini speaker is Bluetooth compatible and is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. The smooth rubberized finish and lightweight design makes it the perfect accessory for moonlight walks on the beach or a picnic in the park. The mini speaker is available in cayenne polka dot, black, and white for $34.99.
Of course, everyone needs a charging cable. Why should you have to look like everyone else with a boring old white one. AR for Her has a line of brightly colored three-foot charging cables for Lightning, 30-pin, and micro USB charging. Colors and patterns will vary and will be available in spring for $11.99 to $24.99.
