Earlier in the week, Google had released a major update for Google Authenticator, which came with a redesigned interface and added support for Retina Display and iPhone 5.
But Google was forced to pull the app from the App Store as users reported that all the tokens for their existing accounts had disappeared after installing the update.
Google has just released a new update, which addresses this issue so you don’t have to set up the tokens for your accounts all over again. It restores the entries that were not displayed due to the bug.
Google Authenticator turns your iPhone into a security token for your Google Account and services like Dropbox that offer the additional layer of security.
You can download the update via the Updates tab in the App Store app or download it for free using this direct iTunes link.
